Technical Due Diligence, PreAcquisition or Dilap reports
At MEP Concepts our engineers are well experienced in undertaking a range of surveys to suit the clients requirements, whether it’s a preacquisition, dilapidation or a general condition survey we can provide a service to advise on the current condition as well as provide insights into any remedial works required to ensure the building is operating as designed. We are aware that risk items are a key concern to clients, and as such, we make a point of providing a high-level summary of any key items upon completion of the survey to forewarn the Client.
Our reports look at the condition of the current installations, commenting on the life expectancies, potential remedial work, including costs, and comments on refurbishment costs. we are able to undertake utility searches to advise on the capacity of the existing infrastructure to ensure compatibility with the client’s anticipated uses
As part of our surveys, we also undertake a high-level review of any current EPC ratings that are lodged on the government portal for the building. We comment on the compliance with the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard regulation and can advise on how to improve building efficiency to meet the current & future standards.
