- Client: Various
- Location: Rushden, Northampton
About this Project
MEP Concepts are pleased to have worked with a host of retailers on their Energy Compliance requirements and obligations for the prestigious new Rushden Lakes development in Northamptonshire.
We have provided a range of services, including Building Regulations Part L, BRUKL Certification, Thermal Comfort Analysis and EPC Lodgement works, for Joules, Pandora, Jigsaw, White Stuff, H&M, L’Occitane, Patisserie Valerie, JD Sports, River Island, Hobbs, Flying Tiger, Jack Wills, Phase Eight and Schuh.

These works have been carried out in conjunction with our BREEAM and Sustainability works at Rushden Lakes, which is the first development of its kind to combine a retail and leisure development with a nature reserve. Working with LxB and The Crown Estate, MEP Concepts developed the sustainability strategy for the project.
The £150 million project incorporates a number of sustainability features which MEP Concepts helped to plan and deliver, with the project designed to BREEAM Very Good.
MEP Concepts have been appointed on the second phase of the Rushden Lakes project, involving the construction of a leisure terrace comprising a cinema, restaurants and an additional retail terrace.
