Main contractor sustainability champion and support
We don’t just understand BREEAM, we really understand BREEAM, so you don’t have to. The primary goal of any development or redevelopment scheme is to reach completion smoothly and on time. Projects subject to ESG or planning driven sustainability goals can all too often find them bogged down with Main Contractor designated tasks and credits, delaying completion or falling short on final scores.
The list of Main Contractor assigned credits can be lengthy and extremely time-consuming. Under the latest version of BREEAM an appointed BREEAM AP must be in place to meet the MAN credits of a sustainability champion. Acting as an integrated member of the project team to facilitate sustainability targets, offering specialised scheme-related expertise.
MEP Concepts can extend this support and help steady the critical path of construction with our BREEAM Concierge Service. This service takes the strain and pressure away from the Project Manager and Main Contractor. Our AP/Concierge works alongside the project team and the site team to ensure evidence is compiled correctly for the BREEAM assessor, especially if it isn’t ourselves appointed to conduct the main BREEAM assessment.
